Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Job Summary: To support the Monitoring and Evaluation Function of the OVC program in the district by overseeing data collection and reporting for the program as guided by USAID/MDMS. The district data officer will work with the District OVC program officer to ensure that clean and complete OVC data is collected, documented, and reported in a timely manner.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Overseeing OVC reporting in registers, UDOTS and OVCMIS for

  • Overseeing case file management and documentation within the allocated
  • Monitoring daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly data entry into the UDOTS and OVCMIS within the

Job requirements

  • Diploma in Records, ICT, quantitative economics, population studies, or any other related field including training in health-related courses. A bachelor’s degree in Statistics is an added
  • Experience in health management information systems (HMIS, UDOTS, OVCMIS, and DHIS2).
  • Competence in Computer applications like, MS excel and MS
  • Ability to work in a rural and multi-cultural environment especially at sub county
  • Ability to work under minimum
