Human Resource officer (01 position) Reports to: Team leader
Job Summary: The position will ensure that the Project has the right human resources that can help in achieving the project goals and objectives in an appropriate and timely manner. S/he will support the management of staff entry, management of their stay and exit using performance management tools
Key duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring the orderly operation of the Human Resource section including adherence to the Human resource and all other MDMS policies and
- Providing advice to management on HR issues and staff updating, disseminating and interpreting Human Resource policies and
- Managing the recruitment, interviewing, hiring and other reference checks or human resources data bases and filing
- Overseeing the performance of all staff in the Project, involving staff performance planning, performance monitoring and S/he will help staff come out with performance plans, performance monitoring plans, performance improvement plans and a robust appraisal system.
- Support management to harmonize staff recruitment plans and set salary scales in the
- Making certain that the methods, systems, and frequency of communication among staff members are sufficient to guarantee that work tasks are completed with a high level of quality, and a minimum of confusion and
- Ensuring that Management creates and maintains a climate that attracts, keeps, and motivates employees and volunteers, including and not limited to rewards and sanctions
- Advise management on staff establishment and development
Job requirements:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Management majoring in Human resource management
- 3 years’ experience in managing human resources at a credible
- A post graduate diploma in human resource management is an added advantage
