Medical Records Assistant Job at MDMS
Masaka Diocesan Medical Services Ltd., Under Caritas MADDO with support from UCMB and Rakai Health Science Programme invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Medical Records Assistant to be posted at Kitaasa Health Centre III located in Bukomansimbi District (Number of Post 01).
This is a one-year employment opportunity with possibility of renewal and subject to performance and funds availability. The Records Assistant role include managing and monitoring patient registration 8. flow charts, collecting, organizing and storing health centre vital records in an easy to retrieve manner, ensure patient data is entered and updated in both manual and electronic registers, data entry into the Uganda EMR, ensure data protection and confidentiality.
Undertake data analysis and compilation for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting. Generate reports for quality improvement at the facility level, participate in facility, health sub district and district data/performance review meetings. Participate in facility data surveys and audits. Compile to submit reports to various stakeholders including the district, UCMB and RHSP.
Qualifications
Diploma Holder in Records and Information Management from a recognized Institution and demonstrable practical experience in records management, good computer skills. and experience in managing Uganda EMR (open MRS) is required.
