Location

St Jude Ssanje Health Centre III is located in Kyotera District Kasasa Sub county Ssanje Parish, 13 1/2 Kilometers from Kyotera town along Mutukula road.

Background

St Jude Ssanje Health centre III was started in 2003 considering the need to improve and maintain the healthcare of the people mainly in the community of Ssanje. The efforts and initiative to build this Health unit were spearheaded by Rev. Fr. Edward Nsanziiro in conjunction with the community of Ssanje Catholic Parish and Masaka Diocese.

The Facility is accredited by the Ministry of Health under the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau licenced by Uganda Medical and dental practitioner’s council annually. Directly Supervised by the DHC of Masaka Diocese and DHO of Kyotera District.

St Jude Ssanje Health centre III is PNFP owned by Masaka Diocese

Catchment Population

The Health unit serves an average Population of over 2729 people covering Ssanje, Mayanja, Bweregera, Bubango, Katovu villages. It also extends services to Kabano and Kimukunda.
