St. Vincent De Paul Health CenterHealth Centre II, Kyengeza Village, Kayayumbe Sub-county Kyotera district.
St. Vincent De Paul Health center is a private not profit health center run and supervised by Masaka Diocesan Medical Services. It was started in 1997 with donors of Cope Aid as a programme for Kayayumbe Primary School. It later extended its services to the community as a health center II. The services included Out-patient services, In-patient services and Immunization.
It later started offering maternity services to help mothers who were travelling long distances for such services. On average the unit started with about 5 deliveries a month. Later on this improved to about 10 deliveries. And now the health center is constructing a maternity block as an expansion of the same services.
